Chapters 10 and 11 Summary

Whelk is having trouble sleeping, which is normal for him. Whelk looks at the maps his has on his walls. They are maps that he Czerny drew on, where they thought the ley lines were. There is even a circle in the area where Czerny died, although Whelk drew the circle prior to Czerny's death.

Whelk was an Aglionby boy and heir to the Whelk family fortune until his father was arrested for unethical business practices. The family lost everything and Whelk is even kicked out of his dorm. The same night he finds out about his father, Czerny pulls up in his mustang and Whelk says they're performing the ritual that night.
