Summary

In Chapter 3, Jude catches the bus home because she is too sore to ride her bicycle. When she arrives at the apartment, she finds Heather is there. Jude and Heather talk about Heather's fears since she learned that Faerieland is real. Heather hates that she fears Oak because she knows that he is not human. Despite all that, she loves Vivienne. While Jude feels that Vivienne made mistakes with Heather, specifically by not telling her the truth until she had no choice, she also knows that Vivienne loves Heather. Heather realizes that Jude is in real pain, and she helps her into the house. As soon as they enter, Jude sees her twin sister, Taryn.

In Chapter 4, Jude wants to “pop” Taryn's head off and tells her to leave. Heather notes that Jude is hurt, which captures Taryn's attention. Taryn needs help but...
