Point of View

The story is told in third person point of view in present tense. Although much of the story is told from the view of Thomas Covenant there will be many times within the story that the character that is shadowed will be someone who is directly linked to Covenant and his battle with Lord Foul. Lord Mhoram, and Triock are two of the characters that are followed. There will be other characters as well, although none of the characters that are shadowed will be workers of Foul. The point of view in the story will come from Triock while he and his companions are traveling to find the unfettered one, but the story will not return to his point of view after his emotional state is compromised by the raver.
