Chapter 15-17 Summary

In chapter fifteen Satansfist has exhausted his army and there is a lull in the fighting. Lord Mhoram takes the Lords aside and explains to them the paradox of the Lore of Kevin, the magic they seek to help win their war against Lord Foul, and the Oath of Peace that they take against needless violence. Mhoram explains that the Lore of Kevin cannot be used except by those who are willing to do harm. Many of the Lords feel that if they do not have power they are lost but if they go against the Oath of Peace then they are no longer who they are and they are lost. Mhoram says that they must find the wisdom to attain both peace and power.

Days continue and the battle ensues. Mhoram and Satansfist have words and while Mhoram is shouting...
