Chapters Fourteen and Fifteen Summary

John can't sleep so he gets up and discovers Six is also awake. They tiptoe out of the house with Bernie Kosar at their heels and go for a walk in the dark, using her invisibility to keep them from being spotted. They see a man get out of his car and begin pounding on a doorway demanding to be let in. They both see his revolver at the same time and the woman inside tells him to go away. Six takes the gun from him and a moment later it is pressing against the back of his head. He stops breathing. Six uses the gun to spin him around and he begins to beg for his life.
