Tikany, Rooster Province, Nikan

Tikany is a small farming village in the southern region of Nikara. This is the village that Rin was raised in from a small orphan and where Kuang starts this story. The Fangs live here and run their opium smuggling ring out of this town. To many, it is a backwater town and no one important ever comes from this town. It is a hell on earth for Rin and once she leaves this place, she refuses to ever go back there. To Rin, Tikany represents oppression and her previous lack of control over her life. Her tutor even tells her never to come back to Tikany as it holds nothing for her.
