Summary

Chapter Twenty-Four begins as Rin awakens, tied up, in the back of a wagon. Altan is restrained beside her. She looks outside of the wagon and is shocked to see what looks the path of destruction of a great wind or the path of fleeing villagers. She cannot tell if it is Feylen's doing as the host of the Wind God or the doing of the villagers fleeing the march of the Federation. Altan awakens as well and tries to burn through their restraints, however the Federation soldiers notice and drug the two again. Rin then awakens in a bright laboratory as Altan despairs that he has come back. Rin realizes this is the laboratory where Altan was experimented on as a young boy. He tells her that this lab is incredibly close to Speer and recounts the day the Federation...
