Motivation

The Poison Jungle examines how situations motivate positive and negative changes in a society. The events take place on the continent called Pantala, which is inhabited by three tribes of dragons – HiveWings, LeafWings, and SilkWings. The relationships among members of the tribes are tense because the HiveWing queen uses mind control on her subjects. Additionally, the LeafWings have been living in hiding for years, and the SilkWings are second-class citizens in this culture.

Some of the SilkWings have organized themselves in the hope of gaining their freedom from the HiveWings. The Hives with the cruelest rulers have motivated these dragons to higher levels of participation. There are members of the Chrysalis throughout the Hives but the group is small and unorganized in the Hives with fair rulers. For example, in the Jewel Hive, there are only seven members in all and their idea of a revolution...
