Summary

Chapter 19 is set in 92 A.V. It follows the lives of those living in First Colony located in the San Jacinto Mountains of California. The chapter includes a map of the colony as well as the Document of One Law. This document describes who will serve as leaders of the colony, and the seven jobs these people can take once they leave the Sanctuary at eight years of age. The children younger than eight never leave the Sanctuary and are told nothing about the situation of the world in which they live.
