Summary

Part Four begins with Raman visiting Daisy because his discussion with the bangle-seller had given him an excuse to go to her house. Raman made the proposal that Daisy could offer free bangles in exchange for women adopting contraceptives but Daisy was angered by the suggestion. Raman made a romantic advance towards Daisy and she invited him inside.
