Summary

This section begins with Neelay's first person narration as he and his father walk together in the new version of Mastery he has created. Neelay's father is awed by the immensity of the game and he is grateful that his son has let him explore this world before the rest of the gamers invade it. Neelay tells his father that this world is only possible because of the work he did and that the trend of technology will only continue to grow. The two say their goodbyes, knowing that even though they promise to see each other again, it will not happen in the real world.
