Summary

Chapter 4 opens with Cori writing in her journal about how she and Joe plan to take advantage of their father’s guilt and resulting intent to buy their love. He has already bought Cori’s dive team a wheatgrass juicer.

At what Amy believes is Talia’s apartment building in New York, there is no doorman to let her inside. She both texts and calls Talia but does not receive an answer.
