Summary

Shea visits Coach in his office and they kiss for the first time in an intimate embrace. Coach tells Shea that he is proud of her for the way she managed the situation with Ryan but that they still need to tell Lucy about their new relationship. Coach is going on recruiting trips soon and then it will be Lucy's Christmas tree trimming party so they tentatively decide to wait until after the holidays.

In Chapter 38, Lucy hosts a tree trimming party at her house for her family and Shea. Shea and the Coach try to avoid eye contact as the evening progresses.
