Chapter 12-15 Summary

Chapter twelve begins with Klorissa laughing at the thought that she would kill Dr. Delmarre. She explains that the last thing she wanted was to be left in charge of the fetal farm and the children, all of them grotesque. Klorissa continues the tour of the fetal farm and explains that Dr. Delmarre had been working on robots that would be able to spank children, although that is in theory a direct violation of the first law. Klorissa also tells Elijah that the people of Solaria hate to be married. It is disgusting and unnatural and Dr. Delmarre had been working on a way to fertilize eggs so that the need for marriage would be done away with and no one would ever have to see each other again.
