Summary

October 23 opens with a series of emails between Ayanna and Frankie. Frankie responds by saying that she has so many things to do she feels as if she is “going to explode” (Location 2016). These include the report and making Nutter's costume. Ayanna is surprised by Frankie's honest response and urges her to talk to someone. Frankie reveals that her guidance counselor, Ms. Trolly, is trying to date Robert.

The next diary entry is just after noon that day. Frankie is again in the nurse's office. That morning, Beth said everyone was talking about Frankie and Johnny.
