The ship remains at battle-ready status during a funeral service for the middies. Kevin heads to Rob's cabin to interrupt his doldrums. They talk about the lost Midshipmen and Kevin clarifies that their deaths are not his fault. Rod then blames himself for not checking the self-detonating torpedoes for Moties and rats.
