Melinda Gates

Melinda Gates is the author of the book and co-chair of the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation. She is the wife of Bill Gates and worked alongside him at Microsoft for many years until she chose to focus on her children. Eventually, Melinda returned to work as a philanthropist, and focuses heavily on challenges women face around the world. As a narrator, Melinda establishes a connection with readers by explaining her own weaknesses as well as her personal reactions to the stories she hears and the people she interacts with.
