Curtis Stone

Curtis Stone is the main character of the narrative set in Las Vegas. The majority of the narrative in these sections is presented from his point of view. Curtis is a retired military security officer in the marines, and he suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder. His flashbacks disrupt the narrative without warning in a stream of consciousness. He has a glass eye that is not revealed until halfway through the story. Curtis has been sent to Las Vegas on an assignment from Damon Blackburn, with the promise of a job as a security guard for the Point if the mission is successful. Curtis has been instructed to find Stanley Glass, presumably because he owes Damon money.
