Summary

Chapter Forty-Three

Thomas was excited about the discovery and relieved that it had worked. Teresa told them to do more to make sure it wasn’t a coincidence. Each time, a letter formed in the center of the stack of waxed paper. The following letters emerged: L, O, A, T, C, A, T. After more letters were revealed, they were sure that part of the message was “Catch Float.” There were scads more boxes for them to go through. Minho said that he and Thomas had to get the Runners out in the Maze. Thomas thought the maps were more important but Minho insisted that they couldn’t miss a day out there. In fact, he wanted to stay in the Maze overnight. Newt would recruit other Gladers to do the map work. Teresa would help, too.
