Summary

Chapter Seven

The tour started at the Box which was closed. The day was bright, but Thomas still wasn’t able to spot the sun. Alby explained that once a month they get a Newbie, supplies, and food from the Box. Alby explained that no one really knew anything else about the Box. The Glade was cut up into four sections: Gardens, Blood House, Homestead, and Deadheads. They grow crops in the Gardens and raise animals in the Blood House. The Homestead is where they live. The southwest corner was where the Deadheads were located. It was a place where the boys could hang out. Thomas was to work one day in the various jobs in the Glade to see where he belonged.
