Summary

In Chapter 15, Iris does not even want to get up out of bed the following morning, but Dave tells her they need to stay focused. She tells Dave the only thing she has come to understand about Will through what they have learned on their trip is why he wanted the expensive Victorian house in which they are living. She realizes it was a symbol of how far he had come in life. She wishes he had told her why he wanted the house so badly.

After breakfast, Iris and Dave first go to visit Will’s father who is in Providence House, a low-income nursing home suffering with Alzheimer's.
