Sutton Mercer

Sutton is just short of her eighteenth birthday when she's murdered. She wakes to find herself tied to her twin sister, Emma, with only sketchy memories and a great deal of time and information missing. Sutton watches as Emma learns of Sutton's existence and is lured to a meeting spot. She continues to watch as Emma struggles to connect with Sutton and later, to find Sutton's murderer. As the events unfold, Sutton comes to realize she wasn't a nice person while she was alive. It's soon revealed that she played a great many practical jokes that were far past what should have been an acceptable level of mischief. Sutton's jokes had gone so far as to involve police.
