Chapters 4 through 7 Summary

In Chapter Four, Emma disembarks a Greyhound bus in downtown Tucson. She talks to her friend Alexandra, telling her she's going to meet Sutton. Sutton suggests she might have the opportunity to live with Sutton but Emma says it's too early to suggest such a move, even though she's fantasized about that very possibility for the entire trip. Emma has left most of her belongings, including the money she has saved, at the Greyhound bus station in Las Vegas. She takes a taxi to the meeting place at Sabino Canyon, arriving right on time. She watches several people arrive but doesn't see Sutton. She sees a man she recognizes from Sutton's Facebook photos as Mr. Chamberlain, the father of one of Sutton's good friends.
