Summary

Chapter 64 is the first chapter of the final section, “Rule Five, Know When to Stop Lying." Freya is being kept for observation in the hospital and Isa is with her. Isa now knows what really happened. Luc believed Ambrose was sending him back to France and he put the heroin in Ambrose's wine. Isa knows he might have intended to kill Ambrose but he might also have been planning only to humiliate him. Ambrose had mentioned other boarding schools and everyone assumed he was sending Kate away, but Isa now knows he intended to send Luc to a boarding school. Luc had sent the drawings to the school, another part of his plan to humiliate Ambrose. Ultimately, Ambrose was the father who was about to let Luc down and Luc wanted revenge.
