Chapters 5 & 6 Summary

The next morning, Timothy wakes Georgie by telling him the Mrs. Harper ripped his rosebush out of her garden. She came storming into the school to speak with Sister Mary Angela. Hearing the news, Georgie runs out to the field and grabs his rosebush with his one good arm. He runs back over to the Harper's garden and begins to replant the bush when he notices all of the flower bulbs he damaged last night. He tries to repair the damage when Mrs Harper comes storming into the garden. She yells at Georgie. All she can think about is how he ruined her husband's surprise to her.
