Importance: Webs is being questioned by members of the group known as the Talons of Peace. He is trying to justify how he and the other minders treated the five prophecy dragonets. He says aloud that they kept the five alive, but he admits these facts to himself. This shows that Webs is fully aware they were unkind to the dragonets and did not perform their duty well.
