The Quest for Love

Lyon has been badly hurt by the infidelity of his brother and deceased wife and has pledged that he will never again fall in love. While it is not exactly love at first sight on Lyon's part, there is no doubt that he feels an immediate attraction and is the first to admit that he is in love with Christina. When he does make that admission, he begins searching for a way to make Christina also admit her love for him.

Christina has come to London for her own reasons and when she discovers that she must marry in order to collect her inheritance, she goes about it in a methodical manner.
