Summary

At the beginning of Chapter 6, Professor Morgenstern visits the library to borrow the book by H.G. Wells. Morgenstern, as he begins to rant on one of his philosophical topics, admits that sometimes he takes the books from the library and does not actually read them. Dita is slightly irritated by this, as the books are in short supply and could be lent out to another group of students. However, Professor Morgenstern justifies this by saying that "the words of a crazy old man are of no interest to them, but if the words come from a book... that's another matter" (69). Despite being slightly crazy, Dita understands him.
