Tina Craig

Tina Craig is one of the main characters in the novel. She is the character who finds Billy’s letter to Chrissie in a suit donated to a charity shop in which she works. Because she believes it will distract her from her abusive marriage, Tina decides to try to find Chrissie and deliver the letter to her.

Tina has been married to Rick, an abusive alcoholic, for about four years when she works up the courage to leave him. She decides to leave Rick when he steals the money from her that she had been saving to start a life on her own. He uses the money to bet on a horse race. The horse on which he places his bet wins and Rick promises Tina their lives will be different from that point forward. However, he rapes her that night and she decides she wants...
