Summary

The next morning they are traveling in a hired car toward Kampala. They take a bus from there to the northeast corner. Roland observes Michael transition back to being a poor African. The bus conductor holds a minute of prayer that they wouldn’t be killed on their journey. Roland thinks to himself how he could have found Wi-Fi in Entebbe and sent a message to NIIA.
