Summary

In the second half of the chapter "Rock 'n' Roll Will Save Your Life," a strong storm descends on the island. As everyone goes to higher ground, Richard protects Ann. Later, Ann says that she has never been so hungry in her life. Richard responds by saying "food." When Dex expresses the wish to record what he is feeling, Ann shows them the web camera that records the beach in an effort to keep them from wanting to leave. Against Ann's wishes, they build a bonfire.
