Seattle

Seattle is the location of a pivotal moment in the novel, as Livia discovers the Secret Service's connection to Child's Play while working for the Seattle Police Department with Terry Trahan. Dox and Livia are later reunited in the city, when Dox comes to protect Livia in order for her to return safely to her apartment. The novel comes full circle when Livia returns to Seattle from Paris and closes the serial park rapist case.

Paris

Introduced later on in the novel, Paris is the backdrop for much of the action involving Oliver Graham and the group. The group sends Delilah to honeytrap Graham under the guise of showing him the real Paris, then kidnap and kill him after a dramatic shootout. Romance also takes hold in the city, as Paris is the setting for the rekindling of Delilah and Rain's love.
