Summary

Chapter 11 jumps back to Rain's perspective, and begins with him meeting Larison at the airport in Virginia. The two catch up and speak briefly about old jobs. They quickly make their way out to Horton's place, calling him 20 minutes out to tell him they are coming. Giving a man like that too much time to prepare could be dangerous.

Chapter 12 continues with Rain and Larison's journey as they pull up to Horton's house. Slowly getting out of the car, the two groups meet with hands in the air to show their peace. They shake hands, and Hort refers to Rain as John, and Larison as Daniel. In a previous encounter, Larison had kidnapped Horton's daughter, and Rain was monitoring the conversation to make sure things would not go south. But for the time being, things were civilized.
