Prologue and Chapters 1-7 Summary
"The Kill Order" is a prequel to the "Maze Runner" trilogy. This book takes the reader back to a time when a virus was spread that caused changes to man's brains, a circumstance that plays heavily in the trilogy.
Prologue. Teresa watches as her friend, Thomas, has his memories erased and is placed in Box to begin is journey to the Glade.
Chapter 1. Mark wakes in the small hut he shares with Alec. Mark wakes Alec and teases the ex-soldier before making his way to a small stream where he knows Trina will be sitting. Mark has known Trina for many years, she was his next door neighbor before everything went wrong.
Chapter 2. Mark and Trina have been friends a long time, but she never saw him in the romantic light with which he viewed her until after the solar flares....
