Epilogue Summary and Analysis
Ronny's father's corpse was never found. Bill wonders where it could be, and knows that it couldn't have just disappeared into thin air. As far as who killed him, Bill knows that it wasn't Ronny. He ponders this question, and compares it to asking who shut down the factories, who moved the production to other countries, and who closed down the town. There is no one simple answer.
