Summary

In Chapter 10.3, Regan tours the city of Florence on her own. She encounters Giovanni by chance. He informs her that he broke up with Cord but that he decided to finish the trip on his own rather than return home immediately. They have lunch, and Regan talks about Matt. Regan confides that she actually helped to arrange Matt’s affair, unbeknownst to Matt and Janet. Janet is a teacher at their daughter’s school. When Regan realized that Matt was attracted to Janet, Regan subtly encouraged the affair. Regan had already wanted a divorce, and she wanted the grounds for divorce to favor her. In Chapter 10.4, Lee begins filling out a questionnaire to apply to the reality show, despite the shallow and degrading nature of the show.
