Chapter 17 Summary

The cook is besieged by people asking for help from Biju in America. The cook tells Buji not to forget about the others back home and help as much as he could. The cook did not know Biju was doing so poorly. Saeed tells Biju that his mother gave his phone number out to half his village, who call him from the airport.
