Chapter 25- 27 Summary

Chapter twenty-five begins with Elena finishing her story about the Ranyhyn and Covenant having asked what Lord Foul hopes to get out of this. Elena explains that Lord Foul has nothing to do with these events and that it was Elena that chose to call Covenant and Elena that chose to follow Amok. Covenant says that it was the release of the creature that Lord Foul had tortured that caused them to call Covenant and that Lord Foul knew the effect this would have on them. Covenant goes on to tell how if they had found the Seventh Ward sooner then they wouldn't feel the need to use something they knew nothing about but if they had been offered a way to go after it any later then they would have been at war and wouldn't have had the option.
