Point of View

The main story line revolves around a group of adults who have been friends since college gathering for a reunion. Their connections and history are important. This information is told through the perspectives of five different characters including Heather, Miranda, Doug, Katie, and Emma. In some situations, the reader sees events from the perspective of two or more characters. For example, Chapter 14 is from Emma's perspective and she describes the scene in the main room of the lodge on their first night together. She listens as Miranda describes having a stalker during college and for several years afterward. Chapter 15 changes to Miranda's perspective and the chapter opens with her saying that she has always entertained people with her stories about the stalker, adding just enough to give them the feeling of a ghost story.
