Summary

Day One: Murder Mystery in 25 Krebs’ Street

I – It is April 4, 1968 in Oslo, Norway. Detective Inspector Kolbein Kristiansen, known as K2, has learned of the murder of Martin Luther King, Jr., in Memphis, Tennessee. K2 leaves his office at the police station at 19 Moller Street to handle a murder case reported at eleven that evening by Constable Asbjorn Eriksen at 25 Krebs’ Street. Harald Olesen, a well-known and well-respected elderly Labour Party politician and Resistance fighter against the Nazis during World War II has bene shot and killed in his flat at Number 25. When K2 arrives, he discovers that Olesen has definitely been murdered, but there is no motive, weapon, suspect, or way the killer could have possibly escaped the flat.
