The Geodesic Dome

The Geodesic Dome, a "house of the future," is the home of Nana and Sebastian. The dome is considered to be the house of the future due to its dome shape, acoustics, and futuristic appliances, like a mist shower. Sebastian believes the dome to be the best place to live until he goes to the Whitcomb home.

The Whitcomb Home

The Whitcomb home is the residence of Janice, Jared, and Meredith. After being kicked out of the dome, Sebastian stays with the Whitcombs until he reconciles with Nana. Here, Sebastian learns what normal families are like and what it is like to have friends.

The Church

The church, where Janice is a youth group leader, is where Jared and Sebastian steal the bass guitar and ultimately perform in the talent show. The church is also important as it is where Sebastian learns about other belief systems...
