Glory

Glory is a RainWing dragon and is raised one of the five original dragonets of destiny, though the prophecy actually calls for a SkyWing dragon. While the dragonets were isolated in the caves, their guardians constantly berated Glory, saying that all RainWings are lazy and useless. Glory made a show of pretending she did not care but in this novel, from Glory's perspective, she reveals the situation had an effect. Glory is typically brash and self-confident, but she demonstrates a lack of confidence when it comes to the prophecy. At one point, she says she does not really have a say in what the dragonets choose to do, which is a sign that she does not feel entitled to be part of the group. In other areas of her life, however, she is authoritative and confident, and she demonstrates that she is learning to think past her first...
