Part 2: Chapters 24-25 Summary

In chapter twenty-four, Aerin wakes two days later and finds Teka crying over her. Aerin and Tor meet over a meal. Tor tells Aerin that she is a hero, that without her they would not have been able to defeat the northern army. Tor then asks Aerin to marry him and rule the country at his side as his queen. Aerin agrees, but asks Tor to wait to make her his queen until things have calmed down. A short time later, Tor is crowned king using the Hero's Crown. Tor is the first king in generation to wear a crown.
