Summary

In Chapter 8, Eadlyn goes to the Women’s Room on Monday. She had everyone over the weekend. When she gets there, she finds Lucy, Marlee, and her mother. Eadlyn still feels bad about Lucy's childless situation. She joins Marlee and her mother. Marlee proceeds to tell her that Kile’s wish to leave has nothing to do with her. He has been talking about doing so for a long time. She comments that Josie never talks about leaving. America tells Marlee that she is going to have to let him choose what he wants to do at some point. Marlee hopes that another tutor will make him happy for a while. Then Eadlyn’s Aunt May, her mother's sister, arrives. She wants to know what the candidates look like, as she has to leave before they arrive to attend other family activities. America...
