Holman Correctional Facility is the prison in which Duke and Post wait at the beginning of the novel from Duke to receive a last-minute stay of execution.

Seabrook, Florida

Seabrook is the town in Florida where a good deal of the action in the novel is based. Russo was found murdered in his office in Seabrook. Kenny discovered the plan to destroy evidence stored in the sheriff’s department storage unit and stole some of this evidence before the shed was set on fire. Later, Kenny and Bruce were sent by Pfitzner to check out an area near Seabrook believed to be a staging place for drug smugglers. Kenny was ambushed by members of the sheriff’s department and killed.

Garvin Correctional Institute

Garvin Correctional Institute is the prison in which Quincy was incarcerated when he was attacked in a murder attempt.
