Summary

In Chapter 22, the Guardians receive a second message From Under Patty’s Porch. This one requests that someone meet the sender at noon Thursday at the Salty Pelican, a bar in the Bahamas. Even though neither Mazy nor Vicki think it is a good idea for Post to meet an informant in this way, Post goes anyway.

At the bar, Post is not surprised when it is Tyler who greets him. Tyler takes Post to his private suite in a resort where he tells Post that he admires him for trying to free Quincy. He asserts that he never believed that Quincy killed Russo. When Post asks who Tyler believes killed Russo, Tyler makes Post strip to his boxers to prove that he is not wearing a wire.
