Summary

Although Selia is initially angry at Ani’s inability to convince the Queen to change her decision, Selia warms up to the idea of going to Bayern. Ani spends her last few days at home attempting to connect with the siblings that she never got to know. Many people, however, begin to treat Ani poorly because they feel that she is unworthy of her own crown.

On the day of Ani’s departure, she wakes up from a nightmare that her mother carved her up and served her for a banquet. She believes that this dream came from the meal she had at her celebration dinner the night before; a cooked swan.
