Summary

The Crown Princess named Anidori-Kiladra Talianna Isilee is born in the kingdom of Kildenree but does not open her eyes until her aunt arrives from the wilderness and tells her stories. Anidori, who the aunt calls Ani, spends most of her time with the aunt as three other children are born. However, rumors begin to spread about the Aunt’s forbidden powers as Ani learns to speak full sentences a year after she is born. While the queen worries about Ani and refuses to call the aunt her sister, the king is happy with his daughter’s progress.
