Sarah Phoenix

Sarah Phoenix is the narrator, main character, and wife of Johnny McDonald. A famed children’s book writer of the Miracle Mouse series, Sarah begins the book happy with her career, her husband, and her home. Sarah, though quiet and friendly, is also prone to courageous acts out of character for her, as she is the one who saves Mia from the fire.

Sarah is devastated by the fires, and desperate for normalcy so she begins, in effect, her own investigation into things to learn the truth. In the process, she uncovers horrible and unnerving things about the past, ranging from that her husband once had a sexual relationship with Monique to the fact that Eris is to blame for everything.
