Summary

Chapter 33 – With the Minkowskis home, Johnny brings Sarah to their house. There, Theresa reveals she has been restoring a painting of Miracle Mouse made by Sarah’s grandmother, nearly lost in the fire. Johnny reveals this is why he has been stopping at Theresa’s, to see the progress on the painting. He wanted to save it as a surprise, but he and Theresa decided to reveal it to Sarah so Sarah would know the truth because Johnny did not enjoy lying about where he had been. Sarah tells Johnny there is a chance for them. Outside, Ryan Greene arrives, saying he believes he has identified the arsonist.
